focus

anxiety

Do you ever feel worried, shaky, panicked? So often, we feel these feelings while experiencing new things, big moves in your lives, or while in school. Some people experience these feelings in their everyday life- at work, school, at the store, or even at home. Whether your anxiety seems like a clear response to a change, or a complicated web of years of stress, I hope to help you learn ways to manage these feelings of overwhelm.

adjusting to changes

I am a firm believer that the changes in our lives can impact us in so many ways. To me, acknowledging the power of these shifts is so important. My hope is that you will be able to identify these stressors (big or small) and learn to give yourself credit for making it through.

depression

Feelings of sadness, guilt, shame, and emptiness impact many of us throughout our lives. Sometimes, these periods of time are due to unexpected losses. Sometimes these periods are related to other changes in our lives- our career changes, we face rejection, or we are transitioning to another life stage.

neurodiversity

I have worked with many neurodiverse kids, teens, and young adults to find ways to hack their lives. It can be very hard to try and navigate this world made for neutotypical beings. I do my best to validate these experiences and encourage ways to survive in this busy world.

LGBTQIA+

Providing queer folks (especially those of our younger generations) with a safe space was one of the main reasons why I wanted to become a therapist. As a member of the community myself, I think it is so important for people of all ages to receive affirming care. The therapeutic space is there if you are questioning, not out to family, or trying to process through internalized ideals.

trauma

Trauma impact us in so many different ways. For some people, their trauma makes itself known soon after an experience. For others, their trauma takes months or even years to become evident. Symptoms of trauma vary from person to person, so my goal is to help you identify things that trigger those symptoms and help you manage your reactions. Acknowledging and processing through trauma can seem super daunting, but we will take things slow and steady.
